Hi, I’m Nicola Berry de Salgado, mother of two bilingual, international children, and founder of Nicola Salgado Education.
I come from a small town in England, and spending a year abroad in Germany as a teenager deepened my appreciation for languages and cultures, opening my world. That’s why I’m passionate about helping young people broaden their horizons through high-quality overseas schooling.
Since then, I’ve spent most of my life living and working across different cultures, while dedicating my career to education. For over two decades, I’ve taught and led English language programmes in the UK and Ecuador, and supported hundreds of international students, while training other teachers to do the same. Now, as an educational consultant, I support families like yours as your child embarks on their own global experience.
MY MISSION IS TO GUIDE STUDENTS AND FAMILIES TOWARD EXCEPTIONAL BOARDING SCHOOL EXPERIENCES IN THE UK.
While working at an independent school in England, I saw firsthand the exceptional education that the students, including my own children, experienced. As a teacher and a parent, I was blown away by the academic and sporting opportunities available, and how pupils are encouraged to explore their strengths and passions. I witnessed the sense of belonging that students develop within their school community, as well as the care and commitment shown by the teachers.
So, I made it my mission to help families like yours access British independent education, ensuring the entire process is smooth and stress-free. As an Educational Consultant working exclusively with British schools, I help you select the right school, guide you through the admissions process, and provide support throughout your child’s stay. My goal is to ensure your child flourishes in their placement while you feel reassured throughout the journey.
And I’ve seen the results: students end their stays with improved confidence and independence, mastery of the English language and, most of all, with unlimited possibilities available to them.
